Who We Are ...         

    

     I'm Todd Hobson, owner of Auto Trim Design. In 1979 I began working for the company that took auto and truck customization to the masses in the 1970‘s, Trim-Line/3M. I was young and knew that I wanted to do what I had a passion for and that was working on cars and with people who loved them. Trim-Line eventually became Auto Trim Design as our line of products and services increased.

      We opened here in Charlottesville in 1996 as a small family business working with new car dealerships installing the options their customers desired on their new vehicle purchases. We started out working out of a truck with a trailer that contained our shop tools and equipment and we would do our work on site at the dealers. For the last 10 years now we have had a retail location and offer the public the same quality products and professional installations we offer to dealerships.

      For over a decade we have been active members of SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) and the SEMA PRO Council. We are also a part of Restylers International which is comprised of over 450 members internationally serving the restyling industry.

      With a combined 56 years of experience restyling cars and trucks, we do each installation like we were working on one of our own. We are real "car guys" that love what we do and it really shows in the attention to detail we give to our installations and your needs and concerns.
